In a newly restored and subdivided 17th century grand home in the historic center of the town of Apt, we have a one bedroom, one bath, single story, sun filled, bright, south facing apartment redesigned in the spirit of the ancient house in which it is located. This apartment overlooks the private courtyard garden below which you are given full access to with the key left in the apartment.

The design blends a respect for the historic structure and contemporary sensibility. The furnishings are antiques found in southern France, bed linens are the finest linens and cottons. The apartment has a wood burning fireplace and a large exterior terrace off the bedroom.

The apartment has a new electrical, plumbing and heating system of hot water iron radiators with new appliances and bathroom fixtures and is approximately 450 square feet.

Everything, from parking to the butchers, bakers, cafes and restaurants, grocers, shops, pharmacies and the fabulous Saturday Market is within walking distance.

Apt is an ancient historic town dating back to the Romans. In fact this entire area dates back to the Roman Empire and this history is noted with pride in each village, town and city so you, the traveler, are more aware of this ancient, important history.. You can spend hours tracing the historic trails and visiting the ancient roman sites.. We love taking picnics and hiking or biking to these sites, spending most of our days out.
