French Confit Pot

95.00

France | c. 1885

Confit jars are used to collect the grease after cooking. The grease, over time seeps into the jar’s pores and helped create the beautiful brown “burnished & stone-like” patina of this piece. Fully water tight and with no chips or cracks, this confit jar is a wonderful specimen from the time. Use again as a confit jar, or repurpose for a multitude of uses.

Measures 5” tall x 4.5” wide in diameter
