Botanicals: Eight from La Famille des Graminees

FRANCE | 1878

Last winter, we stumbled upon an expansive 19th century collection of French botanical pressings. Each specimen is so thoughtfully displayed and mounted and hand inked in French with the Latin scientific names. Dated 1878, this Chenopodium Polyspermum is also known as the Manyseed Goosefoot and is from the subfamily Chenopodioideae in the Amaranthaceae family. A non-aromatic, glabrous annual herb. This specimen is unframed and will arrive flat packed, but deserves framing for proper archiving and display.
